Tiwa Savage Partners with Berklee to Boost Nigerian Music Talent

Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has launched the Tiwa Savage Music Foundation and partnered with Berklee College of Music to boost music education in Nigeria. The initiative includes the 'Berklee in Nigeria: Tiwa Savage Intensive Music Program,' a fully funded, four-day workshop for 100 emerging creators in Lagos (April 2026). The curriculum covers production, copyright, and engineering, aiming to bridge the gap created by the high cost of international music education. Long-term goals include securing scholarships to Berklee in Boston and establishing a permanent music school in Nigeria, supporting the continent's rapidly growing music economy.
