Israel Airstrikes on Tehran: Residential Damage and Civilian Casualties
Israel conducted overnight airstrikes on Tehran, targeting Iranian regime infrastructure but causing heavy damage to residential areas. Rescue efforts by the Iranian Red Crescent Society are ongoing to assist civilians trapped under rubble. Casualty reports from HRANA indicate at least 1,492 civilian deaths, including 221 children, and 1,167 military personnel killed, with hundreds more unrecorded. The IRCS stated that over 87,000 civilian units, mostly homes, have been damaged since the war began on February 28. Both Israeli and US forces are involved in the operations, raising humanitarian concerns as the toll continues to rise.
