The highlight of the event was the introduction of the Galaxy Ring, Samsung’s first smart ring, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra, a new high-end smartwatch.The Galaxy Ring, priced at $400, is a lightweight wearable designed for health and fitness tracking. Weighing less than 3 grams and featuring water resistance, the ring can monitor various health metrics including heart rate, sleep quality, and menstrual cycles. It offers up to a week of battery life on a single charge and is available in three colors with a titanium frame.The Galaxy Watch Ultra, priced at $650, is Samsung’s answer to the Apple Watch Ultra. It features advanced health monitoring capabilities, including FDA-approved sleep apnea detection, over 100 workout modes, and a two-day battery life. The watch is designed for extreme fitness enthusiasts, with multi-sport tracking and GPS functionality.Samsung also introduced upgrades to its foldable smartphone lineup with the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6. Both devices feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, optimized for AI, and come with Samsung’s Galaxy AI system. The Z Fold6 is lighter and thinner than its predecessor, while the Z Flip6 is now the thinnest Samsung phone to date.
